Future for Sale

Is it time to acknowledge that the problems we face today are inextricably linked to our global economic system? In Future for Sale filmmaker Maja Borg will investigate why a radical departure from our monetary-based economy might be the only way to save the environment and with it humankind.

But is such global change possible? Challenging her own disillusions, Maja adopts a more positive attitude; a futuristic vision of a better world, and embarks on a journey to find out. Discovering the potentials of an alternative economy she asks: How would we evolve if our society was motivated by something deeper than profit and: Can we afford not to create a world without money?
